What is a Day in the Life?

Imagine capturing those simple moments of your family's everyday life. I'm talking about the moments you think are ordinary and not worth documenting, but I hope to show you that they are the most worth documenting! It's a little like therapy when you open up your gallery and see your family from a new perspective.

This mama put it this way: “I have 3 little kids and tend to stress before, during, and after photo shoots. First, I worry about our outfits, the location, and then if my kids will cooperate. Spoiler alert: at least one child, if not all, in fact do NOT cooperate since it's usually around golden/witching hour. Then, afterwards I worry if we even got anything from the session at all. Amy came to our house mid-morning, when baby is most agreeable, and simply photographed our family going about our day. I didn't even buy new outfits, we didn't wear matching dresses, I hardly even wore makeup. Amy made us all feel very comfortable, even my husband and older kids who don't love photoshoots. I have to admit, I was skeptic that I'd like the images because it was so different from anything we'd done before. Well, I LOVE THEM. Not only is it amazing to see our family in everyday life, but seeing the joy on the kids' faces is so special. I guess sometimes I'm so wrapped up in the stressful parts of motherhood I don't notice how much joy little things bring my kids.”

By opting for a day in the life session, you are intentionally choosing vulnerability so that the authenticity and beauty of your family's everyday life can be truly documented. These photos will serve as a timeless reminder of the love and connection that binds your family together.
